Lana hails from Mechanicsville, Va., and is a senior journalism major at the University of Mississippi. There, she serves as editor in chief of The Daily Mississippian. In addition to working at The DM all four years of college, Lana has held internships at the Calhoun County Journal in Bruce and RVA Magazine in Richmond, Va. She’s reported for newspapers across the state and abroad in Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. After graduation, Lana hopes to continue pursuing her seventh-grade dream of being a journalist.
